Description

A comforting slow cooker meal of beef bites and baby potatoes cooked in rich garlic butter for a melt-in-your-mouth dinner.

Ingredients

2 pounds beef stew meat

1 pound baby yellow potatoes

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 teaspoons seasoned salt

1 tablespoon chopped garlic

5 tablespoons unsalted butter, cut into pads

Instructions

1. Spray a 6-quart slow cooker with non-stick spray.

2. Place beef stew meat on one side and potatoes on the other.

3. Sprinkle onion powder, garlic powder, and seasoned salt evenly.

4. Scatter chopped garlic over the top and add butter pads.

5. Cover and cook on LOW for 6 hours until beef is tender.

6. Gently stir to coat everything in the garlic butter sauce before serving.

Notes

For deeper flavor, add fresh herbs like rosemary or thyme.

Use baby potatoes whole to keep their shape.

Broil for 2 minutes after cooking for a golden finish.
