Ingredients
1 (16 ounce) can refried beans
1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
1 (16 ounce) container sour cream
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
1 (16 ounce) jar salsa
1 large tomato, chopped
1 medium green bell pepper, chopped
1 bunch green onions, chopped
1 small head iceberg lettuce, shredded
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
1 (6 ounce) can sliced black olives, drained
Instructions
1. Gather all ingredients.
2. In a medium bowl mix refried beans with taco seasoning.
3. Spread the bean mixture evenly on a large serving platter or 13×9-inch dish.
4. In another bowl mix sour cream and softened cream cheese until smooth.
5. Spread the cream mixture evenly over the bean layer.
6. Spread salsa across the creamy layer.
7. Sprinkle chopped tomato, bell pepper, and green onions over salsa.
8. Add shredded lettuce evenly across the vegetables.
9. Top with shredded Cheddar cheese.
10. Finish with sliced black olives and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Notes
Serve chilled with tortilla chips, crackers, or fresh vegetables.
For best texture add lettuce shortly before serving.
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to four days.
