Description
If you love takeout but would rather make it at home then you need to whip up these Copycat KFC Bowls. With only 5 ingredients and minutes to prepare, it is a quick and satisfying comfort meal.
Ingredients
6 servings mashed potatoes
1 24 oz package popcorn chicken cooked
1 15 oz can corn drained and heated
1 package beef gravy cooked
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
1. Make 6 servings of instant mashed potatoes or prepare homemade mashed potatoes.
2. Cook popcorn chicken according to package instructions until crispy.
3. Heat the corn on the stovetop or in the microwave.
4. Prepare the beef gravy according to package directions.
5. Assemble the bowls by adding mashed potatoes to the bottom.
6. Top with corn, then popcorn chicken.
7. Pour gravy over the chicken.
8. Finish with shredded cheddar cheese and serve warm.
Notes
You can use instant mashed potatoes or homemade mashed potatoes.
For a variation, replace corn and gravy with mac and cheese.
Chicken strips can replace popcorn chicken if cut into small pieces.
Use your favorite type of gravy if you prefer something different.
