Bold and creamy Cajun Steak Tips Rigatoni featuring tender steak bites, spicy Cajun seasoning, and cheesy Parmesan sauce for a hearty skillet meal.
Ingredients
1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
2 cups rigatoni pasta
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp butter
1 tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 tsp Cajun seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Optional: 1/2 cup mozzarella or Fontina
Instructions
1. Season steak tips with Cajun spice, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet; sear steak until browned. Remove.
3. Cook rigatoni until al dente; reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic.
5. Add heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
6. Stir in Parmesan and optional mozzarella until smooth.
7. Combine pasta and sauce; loosen with pasta water if needed.
8. Fold in steak tips before serving.
9. Top with Parmesan and parsley.
Notes
For a lighter version, use half-and-half instead of heavy cream.
Serve immediately for the best texture.
Avoid freezing as the sauce may separate.
